MISHAWAKA — The woman who could be the first female President of the United States will be in Mishawaka Friday. Sen. Hillary Clinton will make a campaign speech Friday morning at Mishawaka High School.

The event is open to the public, and people started lining up before 5 a.m. to see Clinton. The high school gym holds about 4,000 people, and a large turnout is expected.

Doors opened at 8:45 a.m. and Clinton was scheduled to take the stage at 10:45. Mishawaka Police now say she is running late and is expected to arrive around 11:15 a.m.

Clinton is expected to focus her speech on the economy. Former president Bill Clinton also focused on the economy in campaign stops in South Bend and Rochester on Monday. Their daughter Chelsea also spoke at the University of Notre Dame on Wednesday.

The decision for Hillary Clinton to speak at Mishawaka High School came after South Bend schools turned down an offer to have the speech at Washington High School.

After her stop in South Bend on Friday, Clinton will head to Hammond, Fort Wayne, and then Muncie. Saturday she is scheduled to visit Indianapolis and New Albany.

Meanwhile, Clinton's opponent for the Democratic nomination, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, began airing television commercials in Indiana Friday.

March 29, 2008 Bill Clinton appeared tonight at St. Stephen's highschool in Hickory NC to an over whelming crowd of well wisher and loyal voters. This was a huge statement in Hickory which is usually Republican and the most conservative district in North Carolina. It is the 10th Congressional District represent by Patrick McHenry. The crowd cheered and chanted, Hillary, Hillary, Hillary. I beleive that the Grace of God that Hillary will win the NC primary and its 115 delegates. Abbby
