We know he will begin a three-day tour of Indiana on Wednesday.

And we know he will be traveling by bus to communities large and small.

But we don't know if U.S. Sen. Barack Obama plans to stop later this week in or around South Bend.

Dates, times and locations for the senator's events during his scheduled "Road to Change" tour have not yet been announced, but staffers at the Des Moines office of the Obama Campaign on Sunday morning said that we could receive more information about his itinerary on Monday.

Obama recently kicked off a statewide canvass to register Hoosiers to vote in the May 6 Democratic primary.

Monday is the final day to register.

Obama's Democratic opponent Sen. Hillary Clinton visited Mishawaka on March 28. Former President Bill Clinton and their daughter Chelsea also have visited South Bend in recent weeks.

With all of the candidates speaking only for themselves saying they will "change" the country people must remind themselves the president only has control of foreign affairs. Those are his real duties. I don't mean to break Senator Obama down but he has no control of our gas prices, and he can't really change the economy by switching a few dollars here and there.

We all know that the people who call Obama a racist, are really racists themselves. People who are not racist can understand why some americans are very angry about what has been their history in this country. Thats why Obamas poll numbers only dropped 2% after this story broke. The real bigots thought they had "lynched" another one, and are shocked that americans are still voting for him even after "all of this" with Wright.

Wow, PJ. How did the media hide that for so long. Rush Limbaugh might have to reverse operation Chaos in favor of Obama when this hits.
