Michelle Obama heads to Hoosier state Wednesday

Michelle Obama will be in Indiana Wednesday to campaign for her husband, presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.

She plans a morning meeting in Evansville, according to information from the Obama campaign.

The event in southern Indiana will be followed by an afternoon appearance in Indianapolis.

There are no immediate plans for Michelle Obama to come to South Bend.
