Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton will be in South Bend on Friday to tour a health center that treats uninsured patients, Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign in Indiana announced Wednesday evening.

Chelsea Clinton, who is campaigning on behalf of her mother, Hillary Clinton, will take a tour of the Sister Maura Brannick Health Center on the corner of Chapin Street and Western Avenue.

The 9:45 a.m. event is not open to the public.

Two others will be campaigning for Hillary Clinton in South Bend on Thursday, the campaign announced.

Maj. Gen. George Buskirk and Brig. Gen. Evelyn “Pat” Foote will discuss Hillary Clinton’s record and proposals on veterans’ issues at American Legion Post 284, at 23571 Grant Road, South Bend. That event begins at noon.

At 12:45 p.m. Thursday, they will be at American Legion Post 303 in River Park at 2503 Mishawaka Ave.

Remember two weeks ago when Obama was nailed for having tickets to his event? At least you could go. Not so with Hillary lately. I think her daughter should be using this time to find a job while her mom still has a little influence. She might have a much harder time here in a month. Trading favors is the Clinton way of life.

Six shots, really? It took some plastic surgery but I think she is pretty attractive now, I still won't be voting for her mother. And last night's debate? what a freaking joke, ABC should be ashamed of themselves.

Another publicity event for this center....they talk a good talk, but you gotta be DOWN AND OUT to get ANY service there....and if you are that low, you are on MEDICAID ! I've gone WITHOUT medications when out of work, but getting unemployment comp. made me INELIGIBLE for services at this place. Sorry Chels picked this place to stop at. I met Hillary at Valpo last Saturday, a TRUE class act !

The Clinton's must be real hard up for votes to keep coming back to this crap hole of a city.

I hate smart people. They're uppity. They're the elite. They make me feel small. Rush Limbaugh assures me that they're not really all that smart, and that I am the one who is actually full to the brim with wisdom; werkin' hard every day wisdom.

Does anyone know how I could have an opportunity to take Chelsea out for a cup of coffee? I think she would be an amazing girl to get to know better.

I dont know why you need to be picking on chelsea its not like she was in the blue dress shes a nice girl i met her once in Kansas at a fist fry. They had perch and cod, but the breading was a little too greasy for my taste.

If Hillary had been doing her job while in the White House, there probably would not have been a Monica issue. If she wont do something as simple, as fulfilling her spousal duties, how can we expect her to run the Nation.

You know, if I was just mildly drunk, she would be somewhat attractive...as long as she didn't talk. I'll score her a 6 - six shots of Jack.

I think after watching last night debate that Mrs. Clinton IS our best hope. Im tired of working harder and getting poorer. please vote with your head and not on gender, race, and the fact the her husband did something wrong there human not robots. Im sure if you do some digging there skeltons in Barack's and spouses closet as well. Think about how well spoken and she new hard facts she ready! Bush dont care hes in who does he need to impress the RICH.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY. NOBODY CARES. WHAT REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE HAS SHE TO BE PARADING AROUND LIKE SHE IS IN TOUCH WITH THE WORLD WE ALL LIVE IN.

At least she's trying...give the girl a break. I'm sure it wasn't easy growing up in the White House. Think of all the things we get to do as citizens of the public. That poor girl had bodyguards all over her. What an easy way to lead a teenage life. Shame on you for being so harsh.

What is Chelsea going to do here in a few months when she is unemployed like her mom?

Wednesday, Apr 16 at 9:55 PM Susan G wrote ...

Ok OK we're all tired of hearing about the politicians coming to town grubbing for votes. ITS NOT NEWS anymore! How about if Chelsea, who went to private schools her whole life, actually got a REAL job working at this center? THAT would be news!

Well if the "Boss" is endorsing Barack I guess it's a no brainer; I'm definately voting for Hillary! I just watched the one on one debate on ABC. She cleaned his clock and then he ended up polishing it himself. He was threatened, tongue tied, inconsistent, uh, uh, uh, and never failed to TAKE another bite of the apple even after his alotted time. While channel surfing a little I saw his wife on Comedy Central. Oh yea, we need these two in the White House. I can't believe he's even a contender!

Hmm...Hillary attends a "closed" event (read: photo op) at the AM General Plant last weekend and now Chelsea is coming for another "closed" event (read: no embarrassing questions about Monica). Two closed events; sounds elitist to me.
