SOUTH BEND — Kathleen Kennedy Townsend will visit Saint Mary’s College on Sunday to meet privately with Saint Mary’s students and employees and campaign for Hillary Clinton.

The event is not open to the public.

Townsend will attend Mass on campus and then proceed to the Student Center, where political science students and College Democrats will host a “Conversation with Kathleen Kennedy Townsend.”

Townsend, the daughter of the late Sen. Robert F. “Bobby” Kennedy, is traveling through Indiana for the Clinton campaign.

The Clinton campaign requested the visit, according to a college spokeswoman. The college itself does not endorse candidates.

WHO ARE YOU KIDDING, THEY HAVE TO PLAY BOTH SIDES UNTIL THERE IS A WINNER. REMEMBER THIS IS POLITICS.

I applaud Kathleen for having the conviction to go her own way and not the way of 'The Kennedys'. I would feel the same if the roles were reversed. I believe this free thinking and sense of responsibility towards ones independence is more in line with her fathers way of thinking. I am sure he is quite proud of her.
