SOUTH BEND — Actor Ted Danson will be at CJ’s Pub, 417 N. Michigan St., to campaign for Sen. Hillary Clinton at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Danson will be there to talk with voters about the Democratic presidential candidate, then leave for a similar event at The Green Frog Tavern in Fort Wayne at 4:45 p.m.

Danson played the character of Sam Malone on the popular television sitcom "Cheers," set in a neighborhood bar in Boston.

Clinton and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama are battling for Indiana's 72 pledged delegates in the May 6 primary.

I'm voting democrat, Obama or Hillary, because the democrats are always the ones who crack down on vulgar music and noise pollution. In Chicago, if your car subwoofers are heard in town, your car gets impounded. I know that with Obama or Hillary, there's a chance for my town to do that, too. The republicans are the thug music industry's best friend. If McCain wins, there will be "white flight" as everyone flees the worsening inner city.

Another reason to puke my innards out when actors have too much money and not enough brains! Hillary is a horrible choice to lead this country and Ted Danson just threw his cash into the toilet.

What the...? Why am I just hearing about this now? I'm so there. No, a woman President doesn't threaten my masculinity. I don't have doubts in that area.

It seems like Hillary has spent far more time around liquor and bars lately then in church. She was on the news the other night throwing back a shot with some guys. Only a few days before admitted she has been to church only on Easter this year.

I'd rather see George Wendt.
