SOUTH BEND — Sen. Barack Obama will make a stop in South Bend Thursday for a private event.

Obama's campaign has not released the location to the public because it is only open to invited guests and media.

Obama campaigned in South Bend in early April with an appearance at Washington High School. He also made a surprise visit to a South Bend restaurant to talk with local diners.

Anonymous, Catholics do not preach pedophilia and are very outspoken against it! Apples to oranges...nice try though. And yes, I would definitely leave my church if the man up front was an admitted pedophile.

How dare you compare Catholics to Wright and Obama! You must be very naive!

Should all of the practicing Catholics who remain loyal to the Church and who believe Senator Obama should be held responsible for Rev Wright's comments be held responsible for pedophiliac priests and be accused of supporting pedophilia? Of course not. By the same token, Senator Obama isn't responsible for Rev. Wright's remarks. See the parallel?

I only wish we could believe just ONE of them. Will vote against someone instead of for someone yet again.

Last I knew ministers were supposed to be preaching from the Bible instead of their own opinions about how terrible our country is. If you don't agree with what they say, you leave the church PERIOD. In fact, if he doesn't like the USA then go back to Africa. But then I'm sure he wouldn't be able to live as lavishly as he does here now would he? Must not be so bad after all!

HEY DAVE, IT'S O.K. FOR THIS GUY WHO CLAIMS TO BE A MAN OF GOD TO RUN AROUND SPEWING HIS HATRED AND FILTH FROM THE PULPIT AND THE AIRWAVES BUT I CAN'T POST MY THOUGHTS HERE? YOU ARE THE ONE WHO'S EITHER OUT OF TOUCH OR MAYBE YOU AGREE WITH HIM! THIS IS A CRITICAL ISSUE HERE MY FRIENDS. HE HAS SAID HE IS READY TO SIT DOWN WITH ANY FOREIGN LEADER, FRIEND OR FOE, BECAUSE HE HAS THE GIFT OF BEING ABLE TO SEE INSIDE A PERSON. WELL FOR 20 YRS HE LOOKED UP TO WRIGHT EVEN CALLING HIM SPIRITUAL ADVISER!

first event, i'm assuming "mishawaka." select people were allowed to sit on the floor the gym at the cave (I was there). There was no "ticket" required and they started letting peoplein early after the students were seated.

oh my so many opinions about rev. wright. well it seems to me that all of you are saying you agree with every thing your ministers say to you. if you beleive all that they say this is not how it should work. or if you don't agree do you condem you minister, or just go by your true feelings? I hope all of you use your own judgment about your beliefs and feelings about people and god because this is how faith works not by a ministers words but by what your choice of religons bible says.

I believe that anyone who can think for themselves and has any political insight, should be able to realize that Mr. Wright is delusional, and a publicity seeking hound.

Intesting how my mother had a ticket for Hillary's first event here in the city. She was able to arrive early before the public was let in. Hummmmmmmm, Public there, but they both cater to there special individuals!

hillary's event was a business---the workers could have gone to see her. Obama's "elitist" event is only open to media and "invited guests." there's a difference. All of hillary's public events have been EVERYONE, no ticket or invitation needed. Who's the elitist now? Obama. Always has been. Always will be.
