PLYMOUTH — Polls show Tuesday's Indiana primary will be a close one between Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama. Saturday, former President Bill Clinton hit the campaign trail with four stops in our area, including Plymouth.

High school senior Michael Roach isn’t just a first time voter. He’s an undecided voter.

“It’s really tough. I guess that’s kind of why I’m here though,” he said.

Just a few days before the Indiana primary, the former president made a last minute push for his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton.

“You think about what the American people have been through these last few years. We’ve got to have somebody who never forgets, who’s in it for them, and who never quits. And if you’ve learned anything about her, you know she’s not a quitter,” President Clinton said.

Clinton’s visit to Plymouth was one of four stops he’s made in the area in less than a week.

“The Clintons have been ... we lost count,” said voter Rocky Talcott.

With Indiana looking to be a tight race, both Democratic candidates have been saturating the state.

From "The Cave” in Mishawaka, to "The Cove" in South Bend, they’re everywhere.

Sen. Obama hit up a café and even a cattle barn to gain support. Many voters say all the attention is exciting for one very important reason.

“It’s great that Indiana has a say this time around. It’s wonderful,” said voter Bobbie Reinhold.

“It’s about time. I mean we haven’t counted for a long time on any of these campaigns,” said Talcott.

And knowing the ballots they cast on Tuesday could play a pivotal role in who becomes the next commander in chief.

“I’m really excited to finally participate in something that’s huge for our country,” said Roach.

Vick, this country would be a lot better off if you and those like you, put Jesus Christ first in their decision in the election!

When are all of you going to wake up and smell the coffee? Bill Clinton should have nothing to do with this election anymore than Jesus Christ. Hillary needs to be examined for her own abilities and not Bill's mistake. At least she is a forgiving woman which is a lot more than I can say for all of you who claim to be Christians. You are so perfect that you can cast the first stone? And as for Obama?? He plain just doesn't have enough experience.

How, exactly, do you all sustain any excitement in all this campaigning? - here in the UK I would be bored witless by now,but you've not yet even reached the real event. God bless you all, friends, whatever the final result: all we need to do in the West is "stay free".

I rather hear a preacher lie, than a Clinton!!!

Oh please! Give me a break! What gives us the right to assert that every sermon delivered in Obama's church for the past 20 years can be represented by the Wright snippets. I pity the Clintonites and McCainites who think they will win the ultimate prize on that controversy.

It is worth noting that the primary in NC and IN and ultimately the election hinge on a bet by two of the candidates that low information voters will believe their preposterous assertions that a "gas tax holiday" will help them pay their fuel bills this summer. Anyone with a high school level education in economics will tell you a gas tax holiday will actually have the effect of raising gasoline prices. The consumer will simply never see a dime and the oil companies will make even higher profits

One candidate did sit in church for 20 yrs listening to hate-filled, racist rant, and that makes him better HOW ??? And preacher's don't lie??? Please give me a break!!

I witnessed about 150 people standing for over 90 minutes to listen to this politician today. I wondered to myself, why cant people sit in a Church for 45-60 minutes at a time? Politicians lie to us, Preachers don't. And you wonder why our Country is in the mess it is today.
