SOUTH BEND — Sen. Hillary Clinton was joined by her entire family and Sen. Evan Bayh as she took the stage in Indianapolis Tuesday night. Clinton thanked voters and told them her fight for the nomination will continue.

At the West Side Democratic Club, both sides showed enthusiasm — but Obama supporters outnumbered Clinton's by about 3 to 1.

Party leaders say if Hillary Clinton in fact does pull out a victory, what likely did it would be all the time she spent here throughout the state of Indiana. Not only the senator, but her husband former President Clinton, their daughter Chelsea, and big name support here in Indiana from former Gov. Joe Kernan and Sen. Evan Bayh.

Supporters say they voted for Hillary because of her experience — and they do believe that whatever happens, the party will eventually unite.

"She's a strong individual. She believes in what she's doing, and she's just been the underdog and she's proven. She has stood strong and she just has more experience," said Donne Trapp.

Chris Lim also supports Clinton and says the part will unite.

"The party will come together. There will be some people who say 'I’m not voting for Hillary' or 'I'm not voting for Obama' but I think — generally speaking — the party is going to pull together and we'll have a Democrat in office come November.”
