GRAND RAPIDS — Democrats decided not to seat Michigan and Florida delegates after both states moved up their primaries against party rules.

Since then, party leaders decided to let Michigan delegates participate in the Democratic National Convention later this year if they come up with a fair plan to assign their delegates.

Sen. Barack Obama took his name off Michigan's primary ballot in January. Wednesday, Obama will try to gain support by making stops in Macomb County and Grand Rapids.

He's expected to talk about shrinking wages, high prices and lost jobs. Michigan's 7.2 percent unemployment rate is the nation's highest.

That rally in Grand Rapids starts at 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Obama is expected to speak at 7 p.m.

The event is open to the public and no tickets are required, but you're encouraged to visit Obama's website if you want to attend.

We'll have a crew there and we'll bring you complete coverage of the event.

Well Dave I don't know what they mean by 'Human Racists' but it sure made me think and I believe that person is right. People are voting on color even more than they are sex or party and what it all really boils down to is; what person, white, black, male, female, old timer, newcomer; which person is going to do the best job for PEOPLE? Human beings? I get the feeling when we start voting for people because of their positions rather than their compassion and ability we endanger the human race.

Wow. Pro Life yadda yadda, that's a mighty big and surprisingly weird chip you have on your shoulder. You may have even outdone Betty for incoherence. By the way, what exactly IS a 'human racist?'

If you don't vote for Barack Obama you are a racist pig! The only reason anyone wouldn't vote for Barack Obama is they are a racist pig! Anyone who votes for someone other than Barack Obama is a racist pig! Anyone who stays at home and does not vote for Barack Obama is a racist pig! Anyone who tells someone not to vote for Barack Obama is a racist pig, and makes the one not voting for him a racist pig too! I am not voting for Barack Obama because of his abortion stand.
