PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) — Michelle Obama plans to discuss challenges facing women and families on Wednesday during a visit to Pontiac.

The wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama plans to meet with women from the area. Barack Obama's campaign says the roundtable is part of a series of similar discussions Michelle Obama is hosting nationwide.

Republican presidential hopeful John McCain plans to visit Michigan on Thursday for a town hall-style event in Belleville.
