Mich voters get to offer Dem convention questions

DETROIT (AP) — Michigan voters have a chance to videotape a question that will be shown at the Democratic National Convention.

Detroit is one of eight cities where voters will have the chance to record their questions. Selected questions will be answered live from the convention floor or online by elected officials and national experts.

Voters can record their questions and individual stories from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at 3011 West Grand Boulevard in Detroit.

Text and video questions also can be submitted online at the convention's Web site.

The Convention is Aug. 25-28 in Denver.

Questions also will be recorded in Atlanta; Denver; Philadelphia; Columbus, Ohio; Raleigh, N.C.; Richmond, Va.; and Tampa, Fla.
