TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Could Joe the plumber become Joe the politician?

A new Web site — http://www.joewurzelbacher2010.com — has been set up by college Republicans in Massachusetts and is aimed at drafting Joe Wurzelbacher to run for Congress in Toledo.

The group says the plumber made famous in this week's presidential debate has a real-world perspective and the right attitude to clean up Washington.

The story of Joe the plumber continues to be a hit on the campaign trail.

Republican John McCain told a crowd in Florida that Joe the plumber has been the target of unfair criticism when questions arose about his lack of a plumbing license.

McCain will be in Toledo on Sunday but he may not get to meet Joe the plumber. The Ohioan is going to New York this weekend for another national TV interview.

It's not Joe's fault. All the guy did was ask Obama a question, McCain was stupid enough to mention Joe's last name in a debate and blammo! Now the poor guy can't get any peace...as far as him not getting elected, I'm sure he has the common sense, not to mention the bad taste in his mouth from all this attention, not to run in the first place. Lay off the poor guy.
