Monday registration deadline set for Feb. 24 Michigan elections

Mondays’ the deadline for Michigan voters to register to cast votes for a Feb. 24 election in 19 counties.

Locally, elections will take place in Berrien, Branch and Van Buren counties.

  • Berrien County
    Bridgman Public Schools
    River Valley School District

  • Branch County
    Union Township

  • Van Buren County
    Bangor Public Schools

    To register to vote, applicants must be at least 18 years old by Feb. 24, a United States citizen and live in the city or township where they register.

    Voters can register in person or by mail. A mail-in form can be downloaded from the Department of State Web site at www.Michigan.gov/sos. Register in person at city or township offices.

    Check your registration status online at www.Michigan.gov/vote.

    On election day at the polls, voters must present photo ID such as a Michigan driver’s license or state identification card.
