Indiana's governor reiterated he is absolutely not interested in running for higher office.

In an interview Thursday with WSBT Radio, Republican Mitch Daniels was asked if he can say — without doubt — he will not run for President in 2012.

"Yes I can, certainly. I've made that decision. I've painted myself in as well as a person can. If I go chasing the rabbit of national office, the chance of succeeding is so slim," Daniels said.

Daniels also said he's not interested in putting his family through the ordeal of a presidential campaign.

There is a new Facebook page called "Draft Daniels for 2012."

Daniels and other Indiana leaders leave on an economic development trip Saturday to Asia, including stops in China.
