Hotline to answer Indiana voter questions

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A national hotline has been set up for Indiana voters who have questions about the ID required at the polls or encounter problems while voting in Tuesday's primary.

1-866-OUR VOTE is operated by Election Protection, a national coalition of voting rights advocates that includes the Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU School of Law and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

Attorneys from these organizations and members of Indiana's NAACP will staff phones all day Tuesday to allow voters to report any difficulties.

Voters are encouraged to call with concerns about identification, registration, voting machines, provisional ballots or other issues.
