How to register to vote
Voter registration forms can be obtained at public libraries, county voter registration offices, state license branches and from some social service agencies.
The deadline to register is 30 days before an election. You must be a United States citizen. Voters must be 18 years old by the day of the general election.
In Indiana, the election is always the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May and November. You do not register by party in Indiana and race is not identified as part of the registration process.
Early voting, commonly referred to as absentee voting, starts the day registration closes.
