SOUTH BEND – We’ve got new information about the forgery case against a former St. Joseph County political leader.

Butch Morgan is accused of forging signatures on election petitions in 2008 while he was chairman of the St. Joseph County Democratic Party.

The petitions were to get Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Indiana primary ballot.

A trial was scheduled to start next month for Morgan and three other former party workers accused.

Now, the trial date is set for April.
