GRAND RAPIDS, Mich—
A Grand Rapids attorney is now convicted of delivering drugs to his clients in a Northern Michigan jail.
Forty-two-year-old John Oren Waters was found guilty on two counts: conspiring and delivering a controlled substance, specifically suboxone, a pain killer.
During the trial, there was testimony that Waters delivered heroin twice to a client in the Kent County Jail.
He faces 7 years for each count. A sentencing date has not been set.
