KENT COUNTY—
Kent County Prosecutors have arraigned Frederick Lewis Scott, 41, as a suspect in a burglary of a Grandville eyeglass business early this morning. Grandville Police responded to a burglary alarm at Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, 4475 Wilson Ave S.W. shortly before 1 a.m. on March 9th.Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a west-side door of the building had been compromised. Once inside, officers found that an eyeglass display case had been smashed and property had been removed from the case.
During a check of the surround area, police apprehended Scott, who was found hiding in a ravine nearby. Scott was found with 64 pairs of glasses in his possession.
