In an economy like this some are being forced to consider moving as they look for a new job.

Lee Smith of South Bend Has a Good Question: "If you are getting unemployment and decided to move to another state for work, will you still be able to get your unemployment until you find a job?"

WSBT's Kirk Mason found out the answer is yes.

If you were working in Indiana when you became unemployed and move to Michigan, for example, you do still get those unemployment benefits, and Indiana still pays the tab.

But Mark Lotter from Indiana WorkOne does suggest you still sign in with your new state unemployment benefits agency.

He says Indiana still picks up the tab even in that case, but he says that way you can also be eligible for free work training programs in your new state, programs that are now offered in Indiana.

This same principle applies across the country. For example, if you live in Michigan and move to Indiana you should do the same thing.
