Dodi Wasbotten pleaded not guilty to four counts of second-degree robbery. She is still in custody at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Her bail is set at $50,000.
Wasbotten is suspected in four Fontana robberies last week outside department stores. She allegedly walked up to four different women and demanded their purses after brandishing a handgun.
Police called her the "Granny Bandit" because the robbery victims described the robber as a woman in her 80s.
