ARLINGTON, Tx. (KTLA) -- A female high school teacher was sentenced to five years in prison for having group sex with male students and letting them videotaping it.

Brittni Colleps, 28, a mother of three, was convicted of 16 counts of having improper relationships with students.

Since the young men were all 18 at the time, she was not charged with statutory rape.

The former English teacher at Kennedale High School in Arlington allegedly held a party at her home last spring where she had group sex with at least four teenagers, all of whom were football players.

Colleps is allegedly seen in a video recorded on a student's cellphone having intercourse with at least two different students while the others were in the room.

During the trial, Christopher Colleps, Brittni's husband, testified that he was working to forgive his wife for what she did.

He admitted the couple had engaged in legal group sex with other adults together, but said he felt wronged by her actions with her students.

She was arrested last year after rumors of the tryst circulated around campus.

The students also testified that Colleps allegedly sent them text messages and pictures of sexual nature.

Police say the students are all 18 years old and legal adults, but under Texas law it is illegal for a teacher to have improper relations with a student.

The law also does not require her to register as a sex offender.
