Sunny to mostly sunny skies will prevail Saturday with more unseasonably warm temperatures as afternoon highs climb into the low to mid-80s. Sunday, April Fools Day, will be even warmer, no Joke, with near record highs in the mid-80s to near 90 degrees! Look for gusty southerly winds to crank up by Sunday afternoon with gusts over 30 mph at times under a a mostly sunny sky.

A storm system will move into Kansas Monday bringing a potent cold front our way along with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Monday afternoon highs will drop into the 60s and 70s out west while eastern Kansas holds on to readings in the lower 80s.

Behind the front Tuesday we'll see lots of clouds, lingering showers/storms, gusty northerly winds and more seasonable high temperatures in the low to mid-60s.
