Michigan: State Roads

Report a pothole on a road beginning with "M-", "I-", or "US-":
- MDOT's "Report a Pothole" online
- or call (888) 296-4546
File a damage claim

Indiana: State Roads

To report a pothole or debris in the road, call your local INDOT district or sub-district.
- See a map of INDOT districts and sub-districts
If my car is damaged by a pothole on a state road, can I be reimbursed? Fill out a tort claim form, or call 317-232-5790.

St. Joseph County, Ind.: County Roads

To report a pothole on county roads call the Co. Highway Dept. central office: 574-235-7800
To report damage on county roads file a complaint with the claims adjuster: 574-235-9547

South Bend: City Roads

To report a pothole on city roads call the Street Dept: 574-235-9244
To report damage on city roads file a claim with the city attorney at the County-City Building
