By Beth Boehne

(AP) — The state wants those with losses from this month's flooding in northern Indiana to report the damage to a toll-free number.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security wants them to call 866-210-1925 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

The department wants to hear about structural damage to homes, loss of personal property, and business losses from the flooding that began Jan. 7.

Callers are asked to provide their names, addresses, phone numbers, and details about damages.

They also should give details about lost work or financial losses because a business was closed or damaged.
