Cass County Boating Safety Classes

Tools

By Beth Boehne

Anyone born after December 31, 1978 must have a boating safety certificate to ride a personal water craft.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office is offering boaters safety classes.

The boating safety certificate is only valid for students that are older then 12 years old and they should have their 12th birthday in 2008 to pre-register.

Students are required to pre-register by calling the Cass County Sheriff's Office at (269)445-1240 and register with the administration front desk. Please have the student's legal name, address, phone number, and date of birth at the time of registration.

All classes start at 8 a.m. and should be completed by 3 p.m. Students are required to bring a #2 pencil, a sack lunch, and something to drink.
