INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis has raised more than $350,000 in donations to help storm victims across the state.

Red Cross official Ann Gregson says an all-day phone bank staffed Tuesday by workers of Carmel-based Conseco raised $169,000. Donations through the Red Cross' Web site and at a downtown Indianapolis drop-off site totaled about $35,000.

The Red Cross also has received about $150,000 in new corporate contributions to help with disaster relief.

The Red Cross needed the additional money after the May 30 tornado that hit Indianapolis and last weekend's storm that caused flooding across much of the state's southern half.

Donations can be online at http://www.redcross-indy.org/donate or by calling (317) 684-4341.
