(SBT24/7News) A large fire destroyed another vacant home in South Bend overnight, and three engine companies were still on the scene at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The fire broke out about just before midnight in the 1100 block of O'Brien Street.

Although the blaze was difficult to control, there were no injuries reported, South Bend authorities said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
