Fire Reported at Walnut and Jefferson Streets

(SBT24/7News) South Bend firefighters were on the scene of a building fire just before 8 a.m. Thursday.

The fire was reported at the intersection of Walnut and Jefferson streets and was believed to be vacant.

It was one of several fires that broke out across South Bend overnight.

There was no word yet on cause of the blaze or the extent of the damage.
