(WSBT) An 11-year-old girl was laid to rest Tuesday, less than a week after she was killed.

Jodi Parrack's mother found her body Thursday in the Constantine Township Cemetery.

The last reports of anyone seeing her alive were six hours before the girl's body was found.

Family and friends gathered Tuesday at Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine for her funeral.

“Jodi's motto, which she had hanging on her bedroom door and the motto she held dearest to her heart, was “Love is like a hug ... hang on to it tightly," Rev. Russ Stauffer, the family’s spokesperson, told WWMT-TV.

Jodie was buried in White Pigeon.

Police say they now have more than 300 leads in her murder.

I cant even imagine what this family is going through. I can't imagine losing a child especially to a murder. It's so sad that our children are no longer safe. We can't even allow them to play outside. When I was young my parents had no worries.
