Melting snow and up to 2 inches of rain in many local areas are causing some roads to look more like ponds.

According to police dispatchers across the area, the following roads are either closed or have high water at this time:

Elkhart County

Closed

  • C.R. 1 between C.R. 22 and C.R. 24
  • C.R. 3 between C.R. 24 and C.R. 26
  • C.R. 13 between C.R. 30 and C.R. 32
  • C.R. 13 south of 126
  • C.R. 17 between C.R. 44 and C.R. 50
  • C.R. 24 between C.R. 105 and S.R. 19
  • C.R. 26 between C.R. 3 and C.R. 22
  • C.R. 28 between C.R. 3 and C.R. 101
  • C.R. 28 between C.R. 9 and C.R. 11
  • C.R. 32 between C.R. 7 and C.R. 9
  • C.R. 38 between C.R. 7 and C.R. 9
  • C.R. 46 between C.R. 11 and C.R. 13

    High Water

  • Benham Avenue Underpass
  • Oakland Avenue Underpass
  • Richmond Street Underpass
  • C.R. 19 between C.R. 126 and C.R. 21
  • C.R. 15 south of S.R. 120
  • Lusher Avenue at South Main Street

    St. Joseph County

    Closed

  • SR 23 at Ireland Rd., South Bend
  • Riverside Dr. between Michigan and Lafayette, South Bend

    High Water

  • Five Points intersection (Eddy and SB Ave), South Bend
  • Portage at Oakwood, South Bend
  • Sample at Fellows, South Bend
  • 1400 block of Monroe, South Bend
  • SR 331 from US 6 to the South Bend Bypass
