PLYMOUTH — It appears the worst of the flooding in Plymouth is over.

Saturday Mayor Mark Senter announced the city shut down its command post and is now focusing on cleanup efforts.

Jefferson and Lake Streets have both been re-opened to traffic and other streets are expected to open up soon.

According to the mayor, all but three of the 45 affected homes have been inspected by the city building commissioner and had their electricity, gas and water restored.

The mayor's press release also instructed Plymouth residents to fill out a flood damage questionnaire as required by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. Those questionnaires can be picked up at the Plymouth Police Department.
