Meth lab dumping site found on North Shore Drive in Jefferson Township

A concerned neighbor led police to a meth lab dumping site in Cass County.

Police found numerous materials to make meth in a swampy area of North Shore Drive in Jefferson Township between Cassopolis and Edwardsburg.

Police had to call a hazardous chemical disposal crew to remove the waste Thursday.

The Cass County Drug Team is trying to track down the person responsible for dumping the waste.

Anybody with information is asked to call the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team at (269) 782-5206 or an anonymous tip line at (800) 462-9328.
