Mishawaka Police looking for Seth Barnhart, suspect in Key Bank robbery

MISHAWAKA — South Bend Police arrested a man suspected of robbing the Key Bank on Lincoln Way West in Mishawaka. Seth Barnhart, 29, was arrested Tuesday evening in the 3000 block of Mishawaka Avenue in South Bend.

The robbery at 401 Lincoln Way West occurred at about 3:39 p.m. Monday, when a man approached one of the teller stations and displayed a note reading, "Put money on counter now," according to a police report. A teller then placed an unknown amount of cash on the counter before the man spoke up and said, "One hundred dollar bills."

The suspect soon grabbed the money from the counter and walked out.

Barnhart is in the St. Joseph County Jail on a charge of Robbery, according to the Mishawaka Police Department.
