Elkhart Chase Bank on Nappanee Street robbed

ELKHART — Police have released four photos of Wednesday’s armed robbery at Chase Bank, 1500 S. Nappanee St.

The photos show two men in hooded sweatshirts pointing handguns at bank employees and customers.

Police still are investigating the robbery, which happened a little after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

According to a police report Wednesday, the two suspects left the area in a stolen 2002 gold Chevrolet Tahoe. Police recovered the abandoned SUV about four blocks from the bank.
