Our hearts go out to these women and their families. This type of violence is happening more and more frequently. Are we safe anywhere any more? It is happening at malls, work post offices, schools and workplaces, what is happening to this world today when human life is not valued?

John J, you ask a very good question. Always be aware of your surroundings. Look for what doesn't belong. Folks, in reality, you are stereotyping your suroundings. It needs to be done to be aware. I also carry a gun everywhere I can.

How does one protect themselves from insane random acts of violence without carrying a gun themselves?
