Storm brings scattered power outages

Some scattered power outages began to pop up across Michiana early Tuesday as a snowstorm swept across the region.

More than 100 customers were without power in Berrien County by 7:30 a.m., according to the American Electric Power Web site.

Additionally, callers from Rochester and Culver, Ind., towards the south, said they were without electricity as snowfalls of up to 10 inches were reported.

There were no details on the cause of the power outages.
