ELKHART — Police say two people robbed an Elkhart restaurant during the busy lunch hour.

It happened at the Olive Garden on Cassopolis Street around 1 p.m. Friday.

Both suspects were wearing some kind of mask or hood. Police say they took off and ran toward the Toll Road.

Elkhart police and Indiana State Police searched but did not find them.

They did find several pieces of clothing under the State Road 19 bridge.

Detectives believe the suspects may have gotten rid of those clothes before fleeing the area.
