ELKHART — Police released three images taken from surveillance video of a man who they say robbed two Subway restaurants in Elkhart.

The first robbery occurred on Saturday just after 10 a.m. at the Subway at 1526 S. Nappanee Street. The second robbery occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Subway at 1530 Cassopolis Street.

The suspect in both robberies is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, unshaven, wearing a blue coat with fur on the hood.

Police say he “acted as if he had a weapon but did not display one.”

Hey, Cjlas7625, you forgot about the free college education and tax funded medical care! Although, chopping hands sounds so horribly uncivilized. Smacking with a wet noodle, now there's the future!
