Sen. Hillary Clinton defeated Sen. Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination in Indiana.

Jill Long Thompson defeated Jim Schellinger for the Democratic nomination for governor.

Republican Luke Puckett defeated Joseph Roush and Tony Zirkle for U.S. Representative District 2.

Democrat Dave Thomas defeated incumbent Steve Ross for St. Joseph County Commissioner.

Democrat Nancy Dembowski defeated challenger Ernest Rowe for State Representative District 17.

Republican Wes Culver defeated John Ulmer and James Teall for State Representative District 49.

Republican William Ruppel defeated William Dixon and Michael Ridenour for State Representative District 22.

Republican Mike Yoder defeated challenger Dwaine Swartzentruber for Elkhart County Commissioner.

Republican Carlin Yoder defeated James Erb and Joe Guerrero for State Senate District 12.

Democrat Don Metzler-Smith defeated Mike Leasor and Joseph Williams for State Senate District 12.

Republican Mark Souder defeated challenger Scott Wise for U.S. Representative District 3.

Democrat Ralph Huff defeated Sean Surrisi for Marshall County Circuit Court Judge.

Middlebury School Corporation Public Question: Voters selected Option 1 to elect members of the school board beginning in 2008.

Republican Randall Head defeated David Martin, Brian Thomas, and Phillip Messer for State Senate District 18.

Republican Terry Young defeated Marion Kasten for Pulaski County Commissioner.

Republican incumbent James Jarrette defeated Torey Bauer for Kosciusko County Judge Superior Court 2.

Republican incumbent Joe Sutton defeated Michael Valentine for Kosciusko County Judge Superior Court.

Republican Kent Danford defeated Terry Wellsand for Starke County Commissioner.

Democrat Daniel Bridegroom defeated Robert Manning, Mathew Quaife and Dennis Yankey for Starke County Commissioner.

Democrat incumbent David Niezgodski defeated Anthony Underly for State Representative District 7.

Republican Charles Wicks defeated Martin McCloskey, Thomas Murto, Peter Todd, and Bruce Wells for Elkhart County Judge Superior Court 5.

Republican incumbent Terry Rodino defeated Robert Pedzinski for Elkhart County Commissioner.

Democrat incumbent Jim Arnold defeated Debra Birkholz and Maxine Spenner for State Senate District 8.
