A North Manchester woman was in serious condition after a single-vehicle accident in Kosciusko County Saturday.

The crash happened about 4 p.m. when a minivan driven by 30-year-old Tabitha Blevins hit a guardrail while heading north on Packerton Road, near C.R. 550 South.

That is southeast of Winona Lake and southwest of Pierceton.

A witness told the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department the van tipped over onto the driver's side and slid to a stop.

Blevins was flown to Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne and taken to surgery, the sheriff's office said in a release.

Hospital staff told 24/7News that Blevins was in serious condition.

There were no other injuries reported or vehicles involved in the crash.
