MISHAWAKA — Ariz. Gov. Janet Napolitano appeared before about 70 people at John Young Middle School Sunday afternoon, speaking enthusiastically about Sen. Barack Obama for about 45 minutes.

Napolitano urged voters, “Let’s bring it home for him on Tuesday.”

The senator from Illinois has a message that translates to everyone, she said, “and we are all in this together.”

The governor was making three stops in the state, already having appeared in Fort Wayne and traveling on to Valparaiso.

She said Sen. Hillary Clinton is “OK, but this is fundamentally about moving the country forward and together. Obama is better.”

Napolitano, who told the crowd that she met Obama four years ago before he took the stage at the Democratic National Convention in Boston, called Indiana “the center of the universe” right now.
