Thieves remove siding to get inside barn

PLYMOUTH — Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers said thieves removed wood siding from a barn sometime last week to get to items they then stole.

Police said thieves tore the siding off the barn in the 9900 block of Quince Road, then took two riding mowers, a garden disk, a refrigerator, and stackable washer and dryer.

The theft was reported April 30, police said Wednesday in a written release.

Anyone with information about the theft should contact Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at (574) 936-3187.

It sounds to me like a crackhead knew the stuff was in there and unattended. I would look at family and or friends with a drug problem.

this sounds to me like someone getting their things back or an inside job and insurance fraud.it would take a truck and trailer to take that much,not counting the time and effort it took to remove and load the stuff!!too much risk for the common theif
