TINLEY PARK, Ill. (AP) — Police say the manager of a suburban Chicago clothing store stayed to call 911 instead of fleeing from a gunman when she had the chance.

Rhoda McFarland and four other women were shot to death during the February botched robbery attempt at a Lane Bryant in Tinley Park.

Police Commander Phil Valois says the 42-year-old Joliet woman freed herself from duct tape used to bind her and the other victims. But she called 911 instead of running out the back door.

Valois says McFarland's actions speak to her bravery.

A sixth victim survived with a bullet wound to the neck.

Police are sifting through thousands of leads, but have yet to make any arrests in the case.

Until they quit treating it like a robbery gone bad, start treating like the hit that it was, and find out who the target was, they will never solve it.

Still no arrests in this case. I hope the punk if caught and executed.
