SOUTH BEND — Because of a high amount of interest, the Community Coalition for School Boards plans to move the location of its scheduled workshop Tuesday night.

The workshop is for prospective school board candidates and will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday inside room 225 of the Indiana University South Bend student activity center.

The coalition had planned to host the workshop at the Chamber of Commerce building downtown.

The coalition was formed in March as an effort to attract quality candidates to run for open school board seats in the South Bend Community and Penn-Harris-Madison school corporations.

There is no fee to participate in the workshop. For further questions call (574) 234-0051, ext. 274, or visit the Chamber of Commerce Web site at www.sjchamber.org/events.
