Car hits buggy near Goshen

Police cited a driver for unreasonable speed after he swerved into a buggy to avoid hitting another vehicle Friday night.

Daryl Bontrager, 19 of Millersburg, was westbound on Indiana 32, west of 43, when he began to pass a buggy on the hill.

Police say as another vehicle approached, Bontrager swerved into the buggy to avoid the oncoming car.

The occupants of the buggy were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
