SOUTH BEND — There are few bonds closer than the one between sisters. Two South Bend sisters are so close, they even shared their delivery date.

Annie Horton and Chlorissa Foster had their babies just 20 minutes apart Saturday. They were supposed to deliver about two weeks apart, but neither baby could wait.

Chlorissa went into labor early, and not long after so did Annie. Annie delivered a baby boy; Chlorissa had a baby girl.

They say they'll start telling them their story as soon as they can.

"We were just actually together the day before it happened, out enjoying the sun, it was hot, and nice and we were thinking, ‘OK well you're going to go in before I do so I’m going to have to watch your kids, and then when you come you’re going to have to watch my children, but it didn’t work that way of course — as you see we're both here together just as happy as we could be," Annie explained.

Both babies and moms are doing just fine.
