Elkhart Police Department’s Street Crime Unit arrested 10 people for suspicion of patronizing a prostitute during a sting operation Wednesday.

A female detective and a female patrol officer posed as prostitutes and were solicited several times in less than five hours, according to a news release.

The officers concentrated on the West Central Neighborhood and the 900 to 1200 blocks of South Main Street.

Officers have been targeting the prostitution problem because of citizens’ complaints, police say.

This is the fourth operation this year, resulting in the arrest of a total of eight females and 10 males.

Guess you pay one way or the other and still no sex. I buy my girlfriend new clothes, spoil her kids, take her out to eat every night, pay all the bills and still get no sex, so maybe I should spend my money on lawyers to "get me off" !! LOL

Okay, you nailed the 'johns' but howabout the 'Joys'? They're still out there, just a little more cautious. If the problem is so dramatic I would think a couple of male officers could have managed to get hit on.
