SOUTH BEND — A Mishawaka man has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to child solicitation in connection with on-line chats he had over a period of months with an undercover officer posing as a 13-year-old girl.

A St. Joseph County Superior Court judge also ordered Kevin Meehan, 31, to serve two years of probation upon his release from prison.

Meehan pleaded guilty as charged earlier this month. He had sexually graphic on-line conversations with an undercover officer from January to April 2007.

You people are letting your emotions cloud your judgement. You're talking about killing or mutilating someone who never left his house.

Will they allow him to have a lap top in prison? Of course it ain't his lap that will need protecting! It may be a bit premature to execute him, but getting him out of society is certainly the right thing to do for now. Is everyone paying attention? Who wants to be next?

I'm with Johnny on this one. The supreme court was wrong. Kill them all. Pedrophiles, rapists, bank robbers, the lot of them. If you step out of line, BANG! You're down, game over. Kind of like GTA but no save points. And probably more screaming and rolling around bleeding but hey, that's life, I guess you shouldn't have tried humping on a kid you sicko.

Steve-o dont believe that. They have face morphing stuff so they LOOK like kids too. They do stuff to their voices too. You should probably just stop talking to kids online altogether, you sicko.

You gotta wonder---No it would cancel each other out, since the agent is pretending to be 13, and the 13yr. old is pretending to be 21. See there are loopholes in the system. So they can continue to talk without getting in trouble.

Guess talk ain't as cheap as they say! I've often wondered what would happen if one of these 'undercover' agents were engaged in sexually explicit conversation with a 13 year old posing as a 21 year old male. WOW! That blows my mind! Would the agent be arrested for chatting with a 13 year old?

Thats why the pro's use a video cam when chatting, so they know who they chatting with.

Kill him RIGHT NOW. This guy as good as molested a kid! Soon as he gets out of the holiday camp they call jail (where he'll just learn from other pedos how NOT to get caught) he's bound to kidnap, hurt and KILL your children.
